Collection and distribution service of national identity card has also started from local level.

National Identity Cards are mandatory for citizen e-passes. District Administration Office has increased the number of national identity cards and separate distribution centers have been established at the local level in each district.

Currently, this service has been started from Gokarneshwar, Kageshwari, Kirtipur, Chandragiri and Nagarjuna municipalities of the capital and today, establish distribution centers outside the district as per the demand of the people.

The department will soon distribute the national identity card and start preparations. In the final phase of the current test, the card is planned to be distributed to 2 million Nepalis per person in the first phase.
