e-Sewa is one of the online payment gateway of Nepal. It is launched on 21 January 2010. It provides users to make online and offline payments to various merchants, transfer funds to various banks and many more. For example, with eSewa you can top up your mobile, pay postpaid, landline and ADSL bills, buy bus tickets, airlines tickets and movie tickets, transfer money from one bank to another. It's headquarters are located at Hattisar, Kathmandu, Nepal.

This site uses SSL Certificate issued by Verisign. It can encrypt private and confidential information securely before transmission. It uses a secure VPN connection while doing transactions with partner banks accounts. Each and every transactions are notified to the user via email.

At first we need to register at their website with an email address or mobile number For Mobile registration please type "REG" and SMS it to 2121 from our NT or Ncell mobile). And verify e-sewa account. In verification process we need scanned copy of citizenship and scanned copy of passport sized photo and fill up the own personal details.
Logon to https://www.esewa.com.np , click on my profile and fill the details, provide the valid documents required and request for verification. Verified users are allowed to hold more than Rs. 9999 on their eSewa wallet, can receive money through remittance like western union and can withdraw amount from eSewa to desired bank account among partner banks of eSewa.

4. P2P transfer : you can ask your friends and family to transfer money.
Mobile Wallets on the top navigation menu. Choose ‘ eSewa Nepal‘ from the list and add the phone number you used to register your eSewa account.
Once you’ve added eSewa mobile wallet in your Skrill account, click the Withdraw button on the dashboard and withdraw the amount you desire to transfer to your eSewa wallet. Meanwhile, you should get a SMS from eSewa notifying that you’ve received new funds in your account.
